Snorkeling tip #1 Did you know that defogging new masks with toothpaste is an important step for clear vision ? Before using a new mask, rub out the inside of each lens with plain toothpaste to "break it in". When you apply the mask defog before going in the water, you will have better success. Snorkeling tip #2 When snorkeling, a polypro exposure suit or thin wetsuit helps you float at the surface more easily. These suits allow you to keep your heart rate low and rest. These suits also prevent stings from jellyfish and sunburn. If you need snorkeling lessons let us know we can help you learn how to assemble, use and clean your gear. Our lessons also provide you with safety information including how to extend breath hold times and how to assist a snorkeler in distress.

SNORKELING TIP : If your vision is poor and you can't see the fish, we offer the perfect solution to this problem. We have Prescription masks that are available in store or custom prescriptions that can be done if you give us a lead time of at least two weeks. Bi-focals and Plus Diopters are also available. You will need to provide us with a recent eye exam prescription sheet.
